Unfortunately, best practices of the top professionals in athletic performance training do not always reach the high school and club sports level. Many young athletes try to improve performance with fitness and body building programs that fail to address the needs of sport. Personal trainers at “fitness” gyms do not have the knowledge and expertise to effectively improve sport performance.

Athletic performance science is evolving at an increasingly rapid pace. It’s difficult for sport coaches, who are excellent at developing technical sports skills, to also be well versed in the methods of modern sports performance training.

That’s why we put so much effort into researching the best practices in the industry.
