Jim has over 35 years of experience in coaching, strength and conditioning as well as martial arts training and instructing. But it’s not only Jim’s sports background that informs his vision of what performance training should provide young athletes.

Through Jim’s life experience as a father, corporate executive and business owner, he understands that playing sports will only be a small part of the vast majority of most young peoples’ lives. Nonetheless, participating in sports can be important for many reasons.

However, the best aspects of youth sports are unattainable if a child is injured.

That’s why Jim has focused ISSC on injury risk reduction as the number one goal.  So whether an athlete is coming out of physical therapy or wants to improve performance, keeping young athletes healthy is ISSC’s first priority.
